Troubleshooting - File Upload Errors

If you see an error when uploading an assignment or attachment, it’s usually caused by file type, size, or connection issues.

Common checks

1. File size: confirm it’s below the upload limit (displayed on the submission page).
2. File name: avoid special characters like / \ ? % & *.
3. File type: only accepted formats (e.g. .pdf, .docx, .pptx) can be uploaded.
4. Connection: ensure you have a stable internet connection during upload.
5. Browser: try a different browser if the issue continues.

If the problem persists

• Take a screenshot of the error.
• Note the assignment name and course title.
• Include both when raising a support ticket.

Tip: Always keep a backup copy of your file in case you need to re-upload.
