Troubleshooting - Clearing Cache or Cookies

Sometimes pages may not load properly because of stored data in your browser. Clearing your cache and cookies can often fix this.


Steps (general approach)

  1. Close Moodle tabs and open your browser settings.
  2. Find Privacy, History, or Clear browsing data.
  3. Choose to clear cached images and files and cookies.
  4. Restart your browser and log back into your Moodle site.


When to try this

  • Pages don’t update after changes.
  • Buttons or menus aren’t displaying correctly.
  • You keep being logged out unexpectedly.


Note: Clearing cookies may sign you out of other websites, so keep your login details handy.
