How to Take a Quiz or Test

Quizzes in Moodle can include multiple-choice, short-answer, and other question types.

Steps

1. Locate the Quiz activity in your course.
2. Select to open it and read any instructions, time limits, or attempt limits.
3. Select Attempt quiz now.
4. Answer all questions, moving through pages as directed.
5. Select Finish attempt, then Submit all and finish.
6. Depending on settings, you may see your grade and feedback immediately or after the quiz closes.

Tips

• Use a stable internet connection; avoid switching devices mid-attempt.
• Some quizzes allow multiple attempts - check the summary screen before starting again.
